Dr. Katar\u00edna Lund\u00e9n is a pediatrician with almost 10 years of experience. Pediatrics is her passion. She herself is a mother of two small children. Degree MUDr. obtained at the Faculty of Medicine of Palack\u00fd University in Olomouc. She completed her professional beginnings at the internal department of the B\u0159eclav District Hospital. Later, she took up the post of secondary doctor in the children’s department at the hospital in Topo\u013e\u010dany, where she mainly dealt with the treatment of acute childhood diseases and the care of physiological newborns. In 2013, she moved to Germany, where she worked at two children’s clinics, specifically at the children’s department of the Cuxhaven hospital, and then left for a larger workplace at the children’s clinic at the G\u00f6ppingen hospital. Here she continued to treat acute childhood illnesses and care for physiological and pathological newborns. Specialization in pediatrics at the medical chamber in Stuttgart.<\/p>\n

In 2020, she moved to Finland, where she is now preparing to practice medicine again after maternity and parental leave. Despite the fact that her life takes place in Finland, she still has intensive contact with Slovakia and the Slovak healthcare system. The medical care that the doctor provides most often is in the area of \u200b\u200bchildren’s patients from 0 to 18 years of age during their hospitalization in the hospital (most often diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases of the respiratory tract, gastrointestinal tract, urogenital tract, children’s infectious diseases, collapse states, assistance with children’s gastroscopies , treatment of light and moderate burns). The scope of work also includes ambulatory emergency services, services in the pediatric intensive care unit, services in the department of newborns and pathological newborns (from the 29th week of pregnancy).<\/p>\n\n
