Dr. Roman Fiolka is an experienced doctor, a specialist in the medical field of Gynecology and Obstetrics with several years of experience and certification.
\nAfter successfully completing his studies in general medicine at the Jessenius Faculty of Medicine of the Comenius University in Martin, he began full-time doctoral studies at the Gynecology and Obstetrics Clinic at the University Hospital in Martin. During his doctoral studies, he focused on the topic Hypermethylation of tumor suppressor genes in endometrial cancer. He worked in Martin for 11 years. Subsequently, he worked as the deputy head of the Gynecology and Obstetrics Department at the Dolnooravsk\u00e1 Hospital in Doln\u00fd Kub\u00edn, where he was mainly involved in high-risk obstetrics. He currently works as an outpatient doctor in \u017dilina, where he is in charge of outpatient care for pregnant women, annual prevention and acute conditions. His specialty is also expert colposcopy – examination of the cervix and specialized ultrasound examinations in pregnancy.
\nHe is the author of many scientific articles and professional lectures in the field of prevention of oncogynecological diseases and management of high-risk pregnancy.<\/p>\n\n
