MUDr. Silvia Turányiová is a general practitioner with experience in the field of general adult medicine and emergency medicine. She currently works in a private general adult outpatient clinic in Bratislava. MUDr. Turányiová began her medical career by obtaining the title of Doctor of Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine of Comenius University in Bratislava. During her studies, she showed an interest in general and emergency medicine, as well as oncology, which determined her future specialization. She began her professional medical practice as a secondary physician at the Clinic of Pneumo-Oncology at the University Hospital in Bratislava, then worked as an internal medicine physician at the Central Admission Department of the Akad. L. Dérer Hospital of the University Hospital in Bratislava, where she gained several years of practice and valuable experience in the field of care and rapid management of patients in life-threatening conditions. She supplemented her practice with experience at the emergency service clinic for children and adults in Pezinok. In pre-certification preparation, she began her practice in a private clinic for adults in Bratislava.
In her private practice, she is currently dedicated to ensuring and providing comprehensive and continuous health care for adult residents. Her competence includes the diagnosis and treatment of chronic conditions, indication of consultation services, differential diagnosis and treatment of conditions threatening basic life functions, provision of first aid, initiation of emergency cardiopulmonary resuscitation leading to the restoration or support of basic life functions.
It pays special attention to consistent primary prevention of cardiovascular and oncological diseases, as well as vaccination of adults. MUDr. Turányiová Silvia is an advocate of modern and innovative practical medicine for adults, which is in line with the latest medical and scientific knowledge.
MUDr. Turányiová also performs forensic activities and is a professional consultant for the Health Care Supervision Authority. She is a member of the Society of General Practitioners of Slovakia and the Alliance of General Practitioners of Slovakia.
