Professional profile
MUDr. Lukáš Valkovič, PhD., is a specialist in the field of radiology. He completed his medical studies at the Faculty of Medicine of Comenius University (LFUK) in Bratislava, where he later received a PhD. in radiology. During his clinical practice, he gained extensive experience in the field of imaging methods including MR, CT, PET/CT, USG and X-ray, including diagnostic interventions and periradicular therapeutic procedures (PRT).
He began his professional career at the St. Elizabeth Oncology Institute at the 2nd Radiology Clinic of the Faculty of Medicine, UK, where he has been working as a radiologist since 2007 and has been heading the CT/MR department since 2020. He also works as an assistant professor at the Faculty of Medicine, UK. In addition to his main employment, he also works as an external collaborator and consultant for several healthcare facilities.
He is the author of several professional publications in the field of radiology and actively participates in professional congresses.
